What an exciting year we have had in Women’s Fellowship! We held several fundraisers and we were able to help several people in our community as well. We thanked all our pastors at Christmas for “tending the flock” and getting us through Covid. We also thanked the Fire Departments that watch over our buildings. We bought winter clothes for the Hayward Middle School, and we helped a couple of Women’s Fellowship members who were in need.
We held a hot dog fundraiser during Fall Fest and had had so many good comment, we plan to do it again in 2022. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, The Country Fair was moved from Spider Lake Church to our Main Street Campus. We owe a huge THANK YOU to Al and Cathy Patenaude for making sure the building was in tip-top shape and the classrooms repainted and ready to use. I would personally like to thank Al and Cathy along with all the fabulous ladies of Women’s Fellowship who helped with setting up everything, donating things for us to sell and working the day of the Sale, making sure everything ran smoothly and helping out with clean-up. Each and every one of you is amazing.
Two ladies organized and taught a DIY Felting Class, and because of them, the “Church Mice Ladies” were born. Check out the photos below. Watch your church bulletins and emails to find out more about crafting classes that will be offered in the future.

Women’s Fellowship Mission Statement
The Spider Lake Women’s Fellowship is open to all women. Our mission and motto is “Working Today for a Better Tomorrow.” For us this includes supporting each other as well as our church and community.
This year’s Women’s Fellowship 2023 Scholarship recipients are Mike Lemmons from the Greater Hayward House of Hope and Tammy Hershberger from New Reflections Pathway to Hope. On April 17th, Kathy Baker presented a check for $500 to each of them. Tammy was ill so Barb Bixby accepted the check in her honor.
